Heather Ryan | Owner & Master Stylist

For more than 36 years, Heather Ryan has been doing what she loves most—helping people feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable in their own skin.

A graduate of the Ohio State School of Cosmetology, Heather is licensed in Ohio, New York, and North Carolina and believes there is always something new to learn in this industry. Throughout her career, she has traveled across the country seeking out advanced education, studying with some of the beauty industry's most respected artists and educators.

Heather is a certified color specialist with a passion for creating beautiful, customized color. She has trained in AirTouch balayage and foiliage under renowned educator Ashley Norman and specializes in dimensional blondes, corrective color, precision cuts, and hair transformations. She is also certified in Butterfly Weft, tape-in, and sewn weft extensions, allowing her to create personalized solutions for clients looking for added length, volume, or a complete change.

In 2016, Heather opened Hair Loft on Linden with a simple vision: create a salon where clients feel welcomed, stylists feel supported, and everyone leaves a little more confident than when they walked in. Ten years later, that vision remains at the heart of everything she does.

When she's not behind the chair, Heather enjoys mentoring stylists, attending advanced education classes, and staying inspired by the ever-changing beauty industry. Her favorite part of the job isn't just great hair—it's building relationships with the people who trust her with it.

Kelsey Christopher | Senior Stylist

Kelsey Christopher loves helping her clients feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves. With seven years behind the chair, she has built a reputation for creating gorgeous color, seamless extensions, and styles that fit her clients' lives—not just the latest trend.

A Moore County native, Kelsey is passionate about bringing fresh inspiration and modern techniques back home. She regularly travels for advanced education and has trained with leading professional brands including Goldwell, Rusk, S-4, Olaplex, and Pureology. In 2024, she was selected as a Pureology Artist and Brand Educator, a role that allowed her to share her knowledge and passion for hair with fellow professionals.

Kelsey is certified in DreamCatchers K-Tip, I-Tip, and Weft Extensions and has completed Vidal Sassoon's ABC and ABC+ advanced cutting programs following intensive training in New York City. Whether she's creating a dimensional blonde, adding volume with extensions, or helping a client try something completely new, she loves the creativity that comes with every appointment.

When she's not behind the chair, you'll often find her traveling, learning, and searching for the next technique or trend to bring back to Hair Loft on Linden. Her goal is simple: for every guest to leave feeling refreshed, confident, and excited about their hair.

Nicole Rae Garner began her journey at Hair Loft on Linden with a passion for learning and a determination to grow. Before joining the salon team full-time, she spent time observing, assisting, and learning from behind the scenes, developing the foundation that would become her career.

Today, Nicole works closely alongside Heather Ryan, receiving hands-on mentorship and advanced training with every client she serves. This personalized approach has allowed her to build confidence, refine her techniques, and gain valuable real-world experience beyond the classroom.

Nicole has completed advanced education through Redken and is certified in both Olaplex and K18 treatments. She enjoys creating beautiful color, refreshing haircuts, and helping clients discover styles that make them feel confident and comfortable.

Known for her calm and thoughtful personality, Nicole creates a relaxing experience behind the chair. She believes that listening is just as important as styling, and she takes pride in helping each guest feel heard, cared for, and beautiful when they leave.

As she continues to grow her skills and expand her expertise, Nicole remains committed to learning, improving, and providing exceptional service to every client who sits in her chair.
